  • Death Pulse reworked:
    • Damage reduced from 125/175/225/275 to 80/120/160/200.
    • Heal reduced from 70/90/110/130 to 60/80/100/120
    • Death Pulse now passively provides 1/3/5/7 HP/MP regen for 7 seconds for each unit you kill (10x for heroes).
  • Reaper's Scythe
    • Reaper's Scythe Scepter upgrade no longer disables buyback or deals extra damage.
    • Reaper's Scythe Scepter upgrade reduces cooldown to 55/40/25.
  • Replaced Sadist with a new ability Ghost Shroud:
    • Turns you Ethereal for 3/3.5/4/4.5 seconds and grants you a 600 AoE slow aura that reduces enemy movement speed by 12/20/28/36%. While you are in this form you take 20% more magic damage but any HP/MP you heal is amplified by 50%. Cooldown: 28/24/20/16.
  • Heartstopper Aura is now generated by illusions.
  • Added talents:
    • Level 10: +40 Damage or +6 Strength attribute symbol.png Сила

    • Increased damage per missing health point from 0.4/0.6/0.9 to 0.6/0.75/0.9.
  • Increased base armor from 0 to 1 (total armor is now 3.1).
  • Increased Death Pulse damage from 75/125/200/275 to 125/175/225/275.
  • Heartstopper Aura no longer affects ancient creeps.
  • Sadist
    • Increased health regeneration per stack from 1/2/3/4 to 1/2/3/6.
    • Increased mana regeneration per stack from 2/4/6/10 to 2/4/6/12.
  • Changed Reaper's Scythe respawn timer penalty from 30% to a constant 30 seconds increase.
  • Increased Heartstopper Aura radius from 1000 to 1200.
  • Reaper's Scythe now adds +30% duration to the target's respawn timer when it dies to or during Reaper's Scythe.
  • Increased base armor from -1 to 0 (total armor is now 2.1).
  • Reaper's Scythe now always grants Necrophos the kill credit for that unit when it dies during it, regardless of who did the last hit.
  • Aghanim's Scepter icon.png Aghanim's Scepter now also causes Reaper's Scythe to disable the target hero's Buyback for that death, if it dies to or during Reaper's Scythe.
  • Increased Heartstopper Aura max health loss per second from 0.6%/0.8%/1%/1.2% to 0.6%/0.9%/1.2%/1.5%.
Old Sadist icon.png Sadist:
Reveling in death and pain, the Necrophos gains mana back for killing units.
Mana per non-hero kill: 12/24/36/60
Mana per hero kill: 12/24/36/600
Notes: Also works on denies. Illusions count as non-heroes.
New Sadist:
Necrophos gains health and mana regeneration for killing units. Hero Kills give 10 times the bonus.
Health regeneration per kill: 1/2/3/4
Mana regeneration per kill: 2/4/6/10
Stack duration: 6
Notes: Each non-hero kill grants one stack, each hero kill grants 10 stacks. Each stack has its own, independent duration. Has no stack limit.
  • Increased Heartstopper Aura max health loss per second from 0.5%/0.7%/0.9%/1.1% to 0.6%/0.8%/1%/1.2%.
  • Increased Sadist icon.png Sadist mana per kill from 12/24/36/48 to 12/24/36/60.
  • Increased Death Pulse radius from 375/425/450/475 to 475 on each level.
  • Increased Heartstopper Aura max health loss per second from 0.4%/0.6%/0.8%/1% to 0.5%/0.7%/0.9%/1.1%.
  • Sadist icon.png Sadist now grants 600 mana on hero kills on its last level.
  • Reaper's Scythe
    • Now calculates and deals its damage at the end of the stun duration, instead of instantly upon cast. This means any damage or heal taken during the stun duration does affect the final damage.
    • Reduced stun duration from 1.5 to 1.
  • Reduced attack range from 600 to 550.
  • Heartstopper Aura
    • Increased radius from 250/500/750/1000 to 700/800/900/1000.
    • Rescaled max health loss per second from 1% on each level to 0.5%/0.75%/1%/1.25%.
Heartstopper Aura:
The deathly air stills the hearts of his opponents, causing them to lose 1% of their max health over time.
Radius: 250/500/750/1000
Notes: Damage type is HP Removal. Does not affect ancient units.
  • Increased Reaper's Scythe mana cost from 150/340/500 to 175/340/500.
  • Aghanim's Scepter icon.png Aghanim's Scepter now also reduces Reaper's Sycthe mana cost from 175/340/500 to 150/340/500.

    • Now releases projectiles towards spell immune units, too (doesn't damage when still immune upon impact).
  • Fixed Death Pulse hitting enemies which are not visible upon cast.
  • Fixed Death Pulse canceling allies' consumables upon healing them [?].
  • Diffusion Aura
    • Increased radius from 300 to 350.
    • Changed legacy hotkey from D to F (to prevent hotkey conflicts with Death Pulse).
Diffusion Aura:
An aura that makes the willpower and might of an enemy leak out in the presence of the Rotund'jere.
Radius: 300
Attack damage reduction: 9%/18%/27%/36%
Notes: Only reduces base damage and that granted by the primary attribute.
  • Increased Death Pulse mana cost from 100/120/140/160 to 125/145/165/185.
Old Heartstopper Aura icon.png Heartstopper:
Stills the heart of a target stopping all regeneration.
Cast range: 600
Duration: 10/20/30/45
Notes: Prevents the target's health from increasing for the duration.
New Heartstopper Aura:
The Necrophos' deathly air stills the hearts of his opponents, causing them to lose 1% of their max health over time.
Radius: 200/400/600/800
Notes: An aura which simply reduces enemy's health as long as they stand within range. Damage type is HP Removal. Does not affect ancient units.
